  Dondra is a sesettlement on the extreme southernmost tip of sri lanka,in the Indian Ocean near Matara ,Southern Province ,Sri lanka .The Dondra head Light House ,Ruins of several Hindu Shrines of Tenavaram and a Vihara are located in the Vicinity .

  Dewundara Devalaya is situated in the little town of Devinuwara which means the "City of the Gods" .The meaning of Dewundara Devalaya is "The temple in the city of Gods" .Devinuwara is also referred to as "Dondra head" in English
